Summer vacation
Workers in Finland receive 30 days of summer vacation annually. There are also 14 additional paid holidays throughout the year. I'm still on summer holiday for the next few days.

Fresh produce
I rented a garden allotment from the city of Jyväskylä this summer. The rent for the summer was 14 Euros for a 100 square meters of garden area. Rental info here (in Finnish).

You will find the Punaisen Tuvan Viinitila just a few kilometers from downtown Alajärvi. Finland is perhaps better known for its production of grain alcohol than it is for its wine, but there are a few Finnish wines worth taking a look at. Punaisen Tuvan Viinitila specializes in berry wine, mainly made from currants, red, white, and black.
